Tear Repair & Structural Work

ABP Art Conservation can repair torn canvases and other damaged painting supports. Dents, bumps, sagging canvases, and other structural issues can also be addressed.

Edge Lining

If edges of a canvas are missing or particularly fragile, they can be reinforced with new fabric adhered with conservation grade adhesives. This allows canvas to be re-stretched.

Dents, Bumps, and Sagging Canvases

Distortions, localized to one area, or overall distortions of the canvas can be addressed through various techniques depending on issue and materials present.
